Along with blogging, painting and working on my new book, A Thousand Days, recent events have included some insanity related distraction as I have been rebuilding my blogging "empire", but I'm not letting it get me down anymore.
It seems like when I begin writing, every bit of drama that can possibly invade my life finds a way to do just that. It makes me want to rent an office outside of my seven room house, but I am always working on a solution. Ever on I press to be present on the lighted screen, to share my heart, my thoughts, my dreams, my vision.
Recent changes have included consolidating my Digital Artisan blog into Poetic Expression. I made this decision based on the facts that I had been spreading myself far too thin with 4 blogs and also that when I offshooted my artwork to the Digital Artisan blog back in '09(listening to someone that told me that I had different topics and therefore should have different blogs). I was never happy with often having to duplicate posts and the trouble it was causing with the search engines. Often times my poetry and artwork just belong together and I found myself feeling that they shouldn't be separated, but together enhancing each other.
Digital Artisan is now redirecting all posts, but will not be doing so after February 14th, as I'd like to regain my PR and I have future plans for DA. Page rank 2&3 has wiped from all of my blogs to 0 this week, but I have been doing some major housekeeping and rebuilding to all of these pages and I expect it will take Google awhile to sort it all out.
I have also been rebuilding Spectrum and have been posting new articles there. I'm looking forward to new submissions and would love to include some full articles, especially in eco/green, offbeat, history, travel and blogging. Watch for calls for full article submissions coming soon!

Michelle, do whatever is best for you! I can understand about "spreading too thin". Just give me a shout, and I will be there! In the mean time, take care of yourself.
Hey lady... It's been awhile. I'm trying to do what's best for me. I think the challenge is keeping up with that as it changes from day to day. I hope you are well. =D
nice blog
I just came across your blog and find it so interesting. Please continue to post more articles, I will wait for it.
God Bless!
Good luck! I'm going to check your sonnet project again in a few days.
Looking forward to seeing everyone's submissions.
It's always a pleasure reading your articles. Thank you for sharing such relevant topic with us
It is very beautiful. As you have told in starting of the above post you do painting, writing and others, I think you are a multi talented personality.
Don't worry. Just stay focused and you will slowly get everything accomplished that you want to. Whenever you are faced with a large, time consuming task, you just have to go at it and do not stop. It's all of those breaks in-between work that make the work take longer than it does.
It's not always easy, well, OK, it's never really easy, but it will allow you to get much more accomplished than if you just did a little bit every now and then.
I really liked the image posted in this article the man kneeling near the water was a nice effect.
Deep and lyrical, it definitely speaks to me:)
Sites like these are very hard to come by. I really like the poetry and the pictures that go with it.
I am surely read your book and hope it will be interesting. i will try to write review on your book.
thanks for the article
Merci pour ton post très interessent !
Ça fait vraiment plaisir d'avoir ce genre de contenu de qualité!
Nice poetry as well as all photos, thanks for sharing this beautiful knowledge.
I guess you should consolidate all your contents on one blog and let it rise. I find it hard to manage multiple blogs because of shortage of time. I wish there is some kind of a software that will do so.
And by the way, I hope you have fun concentrating on poetry, it is really a great hobby. I am not a writer myself. I wish I was so I could persuade my sweetheart with my lines of love. Heh.
Great use of art materials
. Brilliant.
really nice sonnet... i like this...
I've only recently started Blogging myself, it is truly amazing how much time it takes up. I can see exactly what you mean by spreading yourself too thin.
It 's Tough.
Beautifully written
Hi there! Just stumbled upon your blog and I think you made the right decision to consolidate both your poetry and artwork in a single blog. It might be difficult at first to accomplish such task but I think you'll manage to pull through with flying colors.
This big search engines drives me to your site and pal I must say your site is too good in look also with the content you posted.

Hi Michele
It's a difficult decision. Do you focus on just one task and complete that at the expense of all other activities. But what if, in one year's time, you look back and realised that you didn't need to do the task. Alternatively, do you purposefully spend 5 hours on Task A, 5 hours on Task B, 5 hours on Task C, etc?
I agree, you do write your articles with passion. I hope you get the time to post for me some time in the future.
I love the picture you've chosen and I am going to check out your other poetry.
Thanks
I love your writing style and how you write articles, really perfect. Do you consider writing for other blogs as a guest?
I just stumbled across this and I'm SO glad I did. Thanks for all the useful info!
Hey Michele,
I hear what you are saying, running to many blogs and keeping them all updated can get a little taxing. I also wanted to say that I think that painting is really gorgeous, I love the light!
What I am thinking in these days to go with the painting hobby. I would like to wish best of luck for you.
Do what is best for you and this is the best thing
Arts is a thing a few people understand it .. Nice post !
Beautiful work on your site abstract... I especially love your trees. I hope you have a chance to visit poetic expression(linked it to my name) and thanks for the kind comments. =D
I also like poems. In fact, I used to write poems when I was in college. Artworks and poems are inseparable because most poets I know, made their artworks as inspiration to write poems. Know where your passion excels and develop it with dedication.
I think that is amusing, because usually it is the other way around for me. I create the artwork because I am inspired by the poetry or whatever inspired me to write the poetry.
I like the image you ve posted here and it looks different.
The blog which you write is good.In future your blog provided us valuable information to work on.thanks for writing such a nice post.
Hi Michele,
I heard what you were saying, trying to do too many blogs at once and keeping them all up to date can get a little taxing and is sometimes just impossible. Keep up the work though, it will pay off in the end.
It is really a great Blog, thank you very much for posting this beautiful and interesting article.
Art is not for everybody. Many people can see a masterpiece but very little cand understand it.
